Taobao & 1688 Buying Agent: A Real Person, Not a Platform.
Many Chinese shops won't ship abroad or need a Chinese phone number and payment account. I buy for you from Taobao, 1688, JD and Pinduoduo, talk to the sellers in Chinese, check every item in Xiamen and ship it as one parcel. 5% of the item cost.

How it works
- Send me product links or screenshots, with size, colour and quantity.
- I reply with one quote: item prices, Chinese domestic delivery, my 5% fee and the international shipping options.
- You pay, and I order. If a seller needs questions answered first, I ask them in Chinese.
- Everything arrives at my place in Xiamen. I open, check and photograph each item, and you approve it.
- I remove bulky boxes, repack everything into one parcel and send you the tracking number.
Personal agent or agent platform?
Agent platforms such as Superbuy or CSSBuy charge around 0–8% and work well for simple hauls of standard items. A personal agent is worth it when you need someone to actually talk to:
- 1688 wholesale and small-batch orders for a shop or brand, where price and MOQ are negotiable.
- Custom or made-to-order items that need back-and-forth with the seller.
- Items you need checked properly: measurements, fabric, function, or a comparison between two sellers.
- Things platforms won't handle, like collecting from a local shop or buying on Xianyu (second-hand).

Questions People Ask
How do I buy from Taobao if I live outside China?
Use a buying agent. You send the product links, the agent pays the seller in China, receives the items, checks them and ships them to you. I do this from Xiamen for 5% of the item cost, with a minimum of US$10 per order.
Can you buy small quantities from 1688?
Often, yes. Many 1688 sellers accept small first orders or mixed orders if someone asks in Chinese, and I negotiate that for you. Some factories have firm minimums, and I tell you before you pay.
How do you check the items?
Everything is delivered to me in Xiamen. I open each parcel, compare it with the listing, check size, colour and obvious defects, and send you photos. Anything wrong is returned or exchanged with the seller before it leaves China.
How long does shipping take?
Chinese domestic delivery to Xiamen usually takes 2–5 days. International express usually takes 3–7 days and economy lines 10–25 days, depending on the country.
